You may make a generic donation or donate funds specific to the support of a key strategic pillar. All generic donations will be used to support the Foundation’s strategic plan at the discretion of the Board of Directors. Specific strategic donations will be used only to support those programs designed and allocated to the chosen strategic pillar. If you are unfamiliar with the Foundation's Strategic Pillars, please visit the strategy section of the website for a more in-depth review.

Please be aware the 100% of all donations received are used to operate the foundation.  All board members, employees and volunteers receive no compensation and work totally on a voluntary basis.

TAKE THE PLEDGE: SEE SOMETHING, DO SOMETHING!

The first and most important aspect of See Something, Do Something is to NEVER put yourself in harms way or into a situation where you feel uncomfortable. If you see a person who has over-consumed, and you don’t feel comfortable engaging with that person directly, reach out to an employee, or call 911, or engage in a friendly way to divert the situation until someone can intervene. It’s on you to Do Something, but not at the risk of your own personal well-being.

  1. Notwithstanding the above statement, I pledge to act on the principles of See Something, Do Something.

    1. Personal and professional accountability will save lives. Over consumption impairs judgment and motor skills and results in harm for both the impaired person and the innocent people they impact along the way. I will exercise my personal accountability to stop that from happening.

  2. I pledge to never drive under the influence of alcohol or illegal substances.

    1. The BAC, (blood alcohol concentration), allowed in most states is 0.08% (0.05% in Utah) or lower. A BAC above that number is considered Driving Under the Influence. According to Widmark’s Equation and studies done at several universities, the average person may consume two drinks in an hour and be under this limit. Anything above two drinks will most likely put you above the legal limit, although there is some variation for body weight and food consumption. For purposes of this pledge, please do not operate a motor vehicle if you have consumed more than two drinks!
