Together with GSU Law, specifically Professor Derrick Pope's Legislative Writing Seminar, the Alex Patafio Foundation is thrilled to share that on March 9, a Resolution was adopted by the Georgia State House of Representatives to honor Alex's life, work, and legacy. Please view the HR1465 here.

The Alex Patafio Foundation held its first board meeting on August 15, 2025, with the entire board present and engaged. The board decided that our initial focus will be on legislative advocacy and building business partnerships and overall awareness. Please take the PLEDGE and jump aboard! NOTES

A recent AAA survey reveals a paradox: while 93% of drivers view drunk driving as very/extremely dangerous, 7% admit to doing it in the last 30 days, and many support tech/policy changes like lowering the BAC limit to 0.05 and mandatory alcohol-prevention tech in new cars, showing public readiness for stronger action against impaired driving.
